The Ultimate Online Business Task List

121+ smart ways to improve your business and bottom line right now (with "how-to" resources included)

Being self-employed is a beautiful mix of freedom and CAptivity

You have the ability to make all your own decisions (awesome)...AND...you are ultimately responsible for every single task those decisions create (ugh). It’s a paradox that keeps many solopreneurs up at night.

Often, we are so involved with trying to figure out how to get more sales/do Facebook ads/design our own graphics that we completely forget that there are hundreds of mini and major tasks that need to be done in the background so that we have a business to support the sales, ads, and graphics we’re working on.

I know because sometimes I feel overwhelmed by the enormity of the task build-up I create when I don’t stay on top of it.

The task of staying on top of your to-do list

Have you ever had the experience of finishing something you had been working on for a while and then having absolutely no idea what to do next? Yeah, me too.

Wouldn’t it feel awesome if you never had to guess about what you could do next every time you had some spare time?

That is the very reason I put together the original list of 121 business tasks – a simple reminder of what I could be working on next. Since then, the list has grown (you have the opportunity to contribute to it too – keep reading), and it has morphed from just a checklist to a checklist and resource guide.

At this time, 98% of the tasks listed are linked to a helpful resource specific to the successful outcome of that task.

And, the list is growing.

About the Ultimate Online Business Task List

The full list is below, and it would be a good idea to bookmark this link because the list continues to be updated with new tasks and resources regularly. There is a link below to download the list, but in an effort to be kind to the environment, I hope you keep it as a digital file and save a tree while you are at it.

In an effort to give you the most current help with a task, almost every single resource has been created and/or updated by its author within the last 12 months.

The primary value that Accountability Camp and Share Squared Spaces is based upon is the idea of sharing. “Sharing to the 2nd power” is our mantra, and we came up with our tagline: “we’re better together” because of how much we believe in the power of sharing.

To that end, we invite you to share your tasks and resources to be considered for inclusion in the Ultimate Online Business Task List.

All you need to do is fill out the Task & Resource submission form below, and we will review and reach out to you if we include it.

The majority of the tasks and their resources are linked to content written by experts in the field for that specific task. Every item is linked to a resource, and the link will take you to their own site.

Affiliate Statement: It is important to note that some of the tasks on this list may contain affiliate links, which means that if you buy something through those links we might be paid a commission.

The great news is that it won’t cost you a single penny more for the item. You can find our full affiliate disclosure statement here.
